The Gujarat Zone of the Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) successfully organized a statewide campaign titled “Taleem: Read, Rise & Rebuild,” aimed at promoting education awareness and motivating youth towards academic excellence and moral development. The drive concluded on July 25.
The campaign focussed on the holistic importance of education, blending religious values with modern knowledge to empower students and communities. Through corner meetings, weekly programmes, teachers’ meetings, PR visits, and community activities, SIO Gujarat ignited a passion for learning and revived the rich legacy of Muslim contributions to education, science, and culture.
Activities highlighted the Quranic emphasis on knowledge, the significance of education in Islam, and the critical role of youth in building a just and aware society. The campaign also addressed challenges such as school dropouts, lack of motivation, and socio-economic barriers to education.
SIO Gujarat’s leadership, including State President and zonal leaders, actively participated in events, engaging students, teachers, and community members.
The campaign also aimed to strengthen ties with educational institutions and educators to promote value-based learning and intellectual growth.
